SCFBTDA AND ITS WHY

 

Sunshine Coast Fraser and Burnett District Touch Association is a not-for-profit organization. We are a regional body of Touch football who govern sixteen local clubs. We host major events annually with over 5000 participants. We tour representative teams to National events twice a year with over 100 players in each tour.

The 2021 season was without a doubt a great year. After not being able to proceed in all areas in 2020 due to Covid it was great to get everyone back on the field of play.,

We have 16 clubs in our region this year composing of 10,000 players and over 100 volunteers/ parents as volunteer coaching staff and committee.

We are proud of our region and our achievements this year and feel that we will grow and achieve more of our goals in 2022 with the constant growing support of our community.

We have 10 teams competing in the National Touch League at Coffs Harbour in March 2022. In amongst these teams, we have Australian and State of Origin players who have been apart of our region in most cases since they began their sport.

SCFBDTA are seeking Team sponsors to support the individual team for the 2022 and 2023 National event through way of a uniform sponsor.

SCFBDTA is Queensland second largest region of Touch Football. We range from Caboolture through to Childers and out to Kingaroy with many clubs in between. We have increased our membership each year. We have a great reputation for being Respectful, having strong family values and delivering great pathway for our members.

Our Home is situated at Caboolture and has the potential to grow to one of the biggest sporting clubs within the area. We offer age divisions for players aged 5 to 100 years old with both men, women and mixed teams.
