SCFBDTA acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
To show Unity SFCBDTA value and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritage as a proud part of our shared identity. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories are a valued and recognised part of our shared identities and, as a result we would like to release our 2022/ 2023 player uniforms which have been designed by one of our Touch families Sheena Fraser and Shane Larsen.
The Design recognises all SCFBDTA Affiliates around the circle in the middle of the painting. The Affiliate colours blend around this circle as the heart of the Region. The painting includes the SFCBDTA iconic landscapes including the Glasshouse Mountains, the Burnett and Mary River and the big pineapple.
SCFBDTA would like to thank Sheena for her efforts and thought which has gone into this painting. SCFBDTA are confident our players will wear this uniform with pride.
